The program aims to contribute to strengthening and expanding the democratic achievements of the last decade, addressing the challenges of building a development model that combines economic growth and stability with the promotion of social justice and the expansion of fundamental rights, often denied to broad sectors of Brazilian society. Its central axis is structured around some of the main challenges of the social agenda in contemporary Brazil and Latin America.

Objectives:

1. To contribute to generating broad public debate on the processes of promoting citizenship, social justice, and equality in the current Brazilian context;

2. To contribute to strengthening the necessary dialogue between those responsible for public policies, social movement activists, and representatives of the academic field, building bridges and alliances that allow for the identification of common challenges and viable alternatives for promoting a more just and democratic Brazil;

3. To collaborate in disseminating some of the main contributions that, from the field of ideas and academic research, are currently being proposed for the development of public policies of democratic social innovation.
